The Smyles playtime paradise has reopened under new management, boasting a variety of new activities.
The soft-play area is divided into sections for both toddlers and older children, making it more user-friendly and safer for everyone.
The enormous play gym has been completely rebuilt and now offers such new activities as a ball-bounce area and foam forest.
The interactive area will still house a selection of arcade-type games, while we are adding touch-screen and computer games to boost the number and variety of activities available.
Overall increased visibility allows for safer supervision throughout the various areas.
The birthday-party packages we have developed are limited only by the imagination. Our increased selection offers includes more than 10 themes from which to choose. Custom-designed parties can incorporate crafts, games, movies or other related activities, allowing a child to have a unique birthday experience several years in row.
Party platters for parents can also be arranged, making celebrations at Smyles a ‘no-mess”, one-stop shop.
The drop-off service is a dream come true for parents, whether they want to work out at the gym on the second floor or enjoy a quiet dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Late closing at 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays make this option especially popular with new parents in search of a quick break. Children as young as three months will receive special attention from experienced staff.
To bring a ‘smyle’ to our adult visitors, we have created a lounge area where parents can supervise their children in a comfortable environment. Additionally, the snack-bar menu has expanded to include latte and cappuccino coffees, various pastries, fruit and lunch items. We have also added healthier selections for children.
To feed the musical soul, the Kindermusik programme is back by popular demand. The 15-week agenda integrates playful activities with the basics of various musical instruments, and uses music and movement to teach. The next classes start in time for our summer programme.
Call Smyles at 946-5800 to register or for more information about Kindermusik.
Other upcoming special programmes include after-school supervision, which includes homework assistance by trained teachers, and a puppetry club, teaching participants about the lifecycle of puppets – from creation through scripting and performance.
Located at the end of Harquail Bypass, across from the cinemas, Smyles is open every day.
