Pick up the trash

Ivan dealt a devastating blow to Grand Cayman and the resilience of the Caymanians and residents has been awe inspiring. A lot still remains to be de done, but some is not the fault of Ivan.

I refer to trash, and not the trash left over from Ivan but, the daily trash from fast food restaurants and liquor stores left on lots and along the roads. Grand Cayman needs to implement a strong no trash policy.

I am not a Caymanian, nor a permanent resident, but I do own property here and come often. God gave all of us this beautiful Island to enjoy and treasure! Everyone please dispose of your trash responsibly and, when you have the time, take an empty grocery bag along on your walk and pick some trash up.
