As part of an on-going community-involvement scheme, the Central Scranton Committee held their first Fashion Affair after Hurricane Ivan.
‘The show was a huge success,’ said organisers Dale Ramoon and committee members.
At the event, Rosalee Ramoon, a long-time resident in the community, received a very special thank you award from Central Scranton Committee vice president Lucille Seymour.
Proceeds collected from the fashion affair event will go to funding community events in the area, said committee members.
Organisers said there are also plans for a bun and cheese fundraising sale on 23 March and another talent show on 2 April.
The venue for these events will be at the Central Scranton Community Park, starting at 7pm.
