Crime, rudeness don’t impress

I visited Grand Cayman for the first time since Ivan and was happy to see the island is recovering.

I have lived through a Category 5 hurricane so I can understand the devastation and the recovery process.

However, after visiting Cayman three times a year for the past 12 years I was a bit concerned about the current crime trend and the rudeness that some of the people displayed.

Islands are about people and the Caymanian people have been very friendly in the past. I hope my experience was isolated because there are plenty of unfriendly islands to spend $8,000 a year with.
