The French have just given a big ‘no’ to Europe in its Sunday referendum and in my opinion, quite rightly, and the UK should also give a big ‘no’ to Europe.
We have seen two World Wars in Europe and witnessed the breaking up of the USSR into numerous independent countries.
Why would any independent country give up everything for a single state; a state that would have the Germans in the majority with a single currency, a single head and a single army, mostly Germans no doubt.
The UK must never forget the fight for freedom in the wars and say ‘yes’ to maintaining good relations and trade agreements with neighbors, but say ‘no’ to sleeping with its neighbors.
It has been reported that Chancellor Helmut Kohl of Germany has said ‘The future will belong to the Germans when we build the house of Europe. In the next two years, we will make the process of European integration irreversible’.
The UK will be the next country to go to a referendum on Europe.
