British Caymanian Insurance held a cocktail reception Monday to celebrate the return of business as usual for the company after Hurricane Ivan. The event was hosted by director John Michael Foster, who said BritCay had paid out more than $250 million in claims. The company has also gained an A- rating with a stable outlook from the international insurance rater A.M. Best.
