Fuji Film and Cayman Camera are once again injecting a lot of spark into the annual Pirates Week Festival.
The long-time supporters of the festival are continuing tradition by contributing to the fireworks show on 28 October plus donating prizes for youth and school floats and taking free photographs on Children’s Fun Day.
‘The Fuji Film and Cayman Camera support for Pirates Week goes back over a decade, and it’s great to see it continue,’ said Dave Martins, Pirates Week Executive Director.
‘Our sponsors are vital; with no admission charge the downtown events wouldn’t happen if not for the sponsors.’
Colleen McGaw of Cayman Camera said the festival provides an injection for local business.
‘Also, Pirates Week is an opportunity for people to gather and enjoy themselves at all the various events,’ she said. ‘It is truly worth of business support and we are happy to be involved.’
This year’s fireworks display, starting at 8pm, is to be bigger than ever, and will include some new special effects.
Pirates Week runs 28 October to 6 November.
