Two of the most significant events in the parliamentary calendar coincide Monday.
Firstly, the Governor, Mr. Bruce Dinwiddy will deliver the Throne Speech at the Legislative Assembly.
It will be Mr. Dinwiddy’s third and final time of making the speech.
He is set to make his departure from Cayman in late October.
Following the speech, Financial Secretary Kenneth Jefferson is scheduled to present his Budget Address

The address covers the period of the 2005-2006 financial year.
The events, which start at 10 am, mark the beginning of the fourth meeting of the Legislative Assembly’s 2005 session.
When the general election was postponed earlier this year the Throne Speech and Budget Address were also postponed, said a GIS press release.
