E-mail accounts at Cayman Free Press are down because of problems in Miami, Fla.
Host Depot, the e-mail server CFP uses, received substantial damage from Hurricane Wilma. The company had been running on generators for 36 hours because of the power outage in Florida from the storm.
They ran out of fuel about mid-morning yesterday.
No e-mails will go through in this situation. Clients can’t send e-mails to their CFP contacts, but e-mails can be sent from CFP.
The Information Technology Department at CFP has devised a way to keep outside communication coming in.
