Windsor Lakes is the latest community to launch a Neighbourhood Watch programme.
PC Cornelius Pompey, a key player in the formation of Neighbourhood Watch programmes in the Cayman Islands, told residents that they were a part of his crime reduction initiative plan – a plan which he said can benefit the entire island.
He encouraged neighbours to work together keeping an eye out for each other.
PC Pompey urged his community to ‘step up to the plate and give the police your fullest co-operation. We can do it along with your support.’
His next step will be the launching of a police radio programme in which the public will be able to access information on crime reduction.
