Liquor Board to outline rules

The Liquor Licensing Board of Grand Cayman has compiled a draft of its rules and procedures, which will eventually be circulated to the public.

At the quarterly session of the Liquor Licensing Board at Customers Headquarters last week, Chairman Mitchell Welds said that in October of this year the Office of the Complaints Commissioner had recommended the Liquor Licensing Board publish the rules of the board and its powers.

Mr. Welds said that as a result of these recommendations, the board has compiled a draft of its rules and procedures. He handed this to a representative of the Complaints Commissioner’s office, Mr. Scott Swing. Once this document is approved it will be circulated to the media and the public, the Board Chairman said.
