Employees shine at Reef Resort

At the Reef Resort, emphasis is placed on the importance of recognizing their star employees a press release says.

Despite the long drive to the resort in East End, employees have to be encouraged to leave at the end of their shift.

Over the past four months, a number of employees have been recognized.

Last September Yoselin Remigio was commended for her dedication and upbeat attitude towards her work and guests. ‘Her positive attitude towards her work has made her a role model amongst her co-workers,’ said Patricia Howard, Human Resources Manager.

In October, Hermenegelido Borden, fondly known as Papi was recognized, despite the fact that he is a senior employee, with regards to age, his enthusiasm for his work cannot be missed. Every morning he removes the flotsam that washes up on the shores overnight.

Clitie McLaughlin shone in November, displaying an excellent attitude towards work. She is always eager and willing to learn something new. Known for her reliability, her supervisors often give her tasks to be completed with professionalism and consistency.

Newcomer Nelesa Connolly was applauded for her determination to excel at her front desk position. Since this, she has been able to provide assistance in the training of new clerks. Despite her reputation of being quiet she possesses the talent to sing.

‘At The Reef Resort our philosophy is motivation drives success,’ said Ms. Howard.
