FirstCaribbean International Bank has made a CI$5,000 donation to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society to help with the drive to purchase a new state of the art digital mammogram machine.
Anna McLean, regional head of Compliance, making the presentation on behalf of the bank said ‘FirstCaribbean International Bank is very pleased and also very proud to make a donation to the Women Helping Women Memorial Fund. We thank the Cancer Society for coordinating such a worthy cause that will ultimately benefit all the people of the Cayman Islands.’
Christine Sanders, general manager for CICS said ‘FirstCaribbean International Bank’s donation of CI$5,000 is another significant boost to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society’s goal of raising $300,000 to purchase the new machine. We are extremely grateful to them for their donation. When purchased the Cancer Society will donate the new digital mammogram machine to the Cayman Islands Hospital so that every woman living in the Cayman Islands will be able to benefit from the new medical facilities.
