Sympathy goes to cruisers

We enjoyed our honeymoon on Sea Princess in November/December 2005 and had a wonderful time.

Our thoughts go out to everyone involved in the fire onboard Star Princess.

At the time of our cruise it was pointed out the importance of cigarettes/cigars and stressed that the user should always make sure they extinguished cigarettes. It seems in this case this did not happen at a huge cost.

We hope this person, who no doubt knows who he/she is, can live with the consequences of their actions.

No doubt Princess Cruises will now put a total ban on smoking on board all their ships. This is the only way they can be confident of customer safety.

Best wishes to all those who have had a terrible experience.
