2nd charged in supermarket robbery

Police have charged a second man in connection with the Fosters Food Fair robbery.

Damian Dwayne Seymour, 23, of George Town was to appear in court Monday morning.

He is facing charges of robbery, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.

It follows an incident which took place on Saturday, 4 March when two people reported being abducted by two men from Public Beach, West Bay Road and driven to the West Bay area. On the same evening a robbery took place at Fosters Food Fair in West Bay.

Seymour was remanded in custody.

Investigations into the incident are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Inspector Livingston Bailey on 949-4222.
