News to come shortly on Hyatt

Minister of Tourism Charles Clifford has informed the Caymanian Compass that a joint press statement is to be issued shortly by the Ministry of Tourism and the owners of the Hyatt Regency Resort.

The statement follows on from a recent meeting Minister Clifford had with the owners of the Hyatt Regency Resort.

Minister Clifford commented that he considered it to have been a productive meeting.

The beach side of the hotel (53 beach suites) is the only part of the hotel currently operating. The main side of the hotel, containing over 200 rooms, has not been in operation since Hurricane Ivan hit in September 2004, pending insurance settlement.
