True Christians don’t condemn

Please allow me space in your newspaper to answer the letter that appeared on 9 June under the heading Where are our principles?.

Apparently this brother’s Christianity is based on principles.

He says that Jesus is the way.

My Bible says that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is nowhere in the Bible that Jesus condemned anybody. So which man or woman in Cayman has He given authority to condemn His creation?

Don’t the people who are condemning the homosexuals know that they have the same spirit?

Let me explain what I mean: wasn’t it Lucifer that said ‘I will build my throne above God’s throne?’

When we say ‘I am going to start my own church, I am going to set my own rules and give myself a title’ it is the same spirit that is in those gay people, just working in a different way.

Didn’t the scriptures say we are to be in the world but not of it? So after we claim we are living for God, why are we selling tickets, one price now and another price at the door, having barbecues and fish frys, taking the word of God, standing before the pulpit in the church that we built and condemning the sinners and wondering why the sinners do not come to church?

I cannot think of any greater abomination than that.

Did not the scriptures also tell us that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus? We all have made Satan make us slaves because he was the one who told us to beg for money to buy land and then beg for money to build the building; so who is supplying our needs by begging?

We are not in the will of God and we shall always be begging.

A real gentleman will never make another man support his family neither will Lord Jesus Christ make the world support His bride. So please, condemners, think before you condemn the sinners.

Secondly, Government has decided to bite the bullet. It is doing what others should have done before. I must agree that there were other people in government before who had good intentions, but were not in a position to do anything about it.

To our Government, I say you have people who have a relationship with Jesus Christ who are praying for you and our country.
