The National Gallery is already preparing for their next exhibition, From Within IV, planned to open Thursday, 31 August.
The show, which follows on from the gallery’s current exhibition, ‘är”kIv, will feature up to 60 pieces of work from participants of the gallery’s outreach programmes.
Designed as an expressive outlet for people who have had difficulties in the past, all of the outreach programmes will be represented at the show by at least one participant.
‘This is going to be a very exciting exhibition,’ Kushana Gentles, curator of From Within IV and education and outreach officer said. ‘There will be lots of different media on display, from mixed to photography as well as a real melting pot of different techniques.
‘The outreach programme participants really look forward to this annual show, as well as the local community. There really is some great artistic talent in Cayman.’
Those as young as 12 will have work on display and all pieces will be for sale.
From Within opens at 6pm. Complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
