Residents of Cayman will get their first chance to enjoy a special screening of locally filmed movie Haven this Monday, a press release said.
The screening is hosted by the four dms stations who have booked out the entire Marquee Cinema for the special event.
Following the screening, all are invited to attend an after party at Hard Rock Cafe.
Haven was written and directed by Frank E. Flowers and is the first major motion picture shot entirely in the Cayman Islands. The film features walk-on appearances by numerous Cayman residents and stars Orlando Bloom, Bill Paxton, and Zoe Saldana. The movie opens in selected cities in North America over the next three weeks.
Manager of the dms Broadcasting stations, Steve Jones, said ‘The entire dms team is thrilled to be bringing Frankie’s movie to the public for the first time. It’s an honour to be able to host this event and share this moment in Cayman history with our listeners and advertisers’.
Those who purchase VIP passes to the Hard Rock Cafe after party will be guaranteed seats to the first public screening, which is a free event. VIP tickets are on sale now at the Hard Rock Cafe for $25.
Listeners to dms stations – 96.5 CAYROCK, HOT 104.1, 106.1 KISS FM, and X107.1 – can also win VIP passes leading up to the Monday night Cayman public premier.
