The Caymanised wording ‘unny hurd of youth flex?’ and ‘for deh fortyleventeenth time, lisen’ to youth flex’, were chosen out of a long list, said a press release from the company.

Youth services co-ordinator of the Department of Youth & Sports, James Myles, said when the Youth Flex crew wear the T-shirts, they help preserve Cayman’s culture in a modern, street-saavy way.

The T-shirts first hit the streets in the Brac when the Youth Flex crew aired the first-annual Youth Radio Camp there recently. The event, organized by the Department of Youth & Sports in conjunction with Cayman Airways, attracted additional sponsorship from MLA Moses Kirkconnell, CB Rent-A-Car, Biggies Restaurant, the National Drug Council and the National Youth Commission.

Youth Flex airs Wednesdays at 4pm on Radio Cayman (89.9 FM).
