First Place for Savannah Adventist Church team

The Savannah Adventist Church won first place during the First Annual Cayman Islands Conference Inter-Church Football on September 23, 2006 at the East End Football Field.

The Football Tournament commence on July 16, 2006 with eight of the 15 Adventist Churches in the Cayman Islands competing. The Savannah Adventist Church faced George Town in the finals and won the match 3 to nil.

Noel Williams of FIFA was the referee for the game.

However, it should be noted that the George Town Adventist Church won second place overall in the tournament. Meanwhile, the Kings Adventist Church won third place.

Pastor Balvin Braham, Associate Ministerial Secretary, Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists presented the trophies at the conclusion championship game. Pastor Reinaldo Dracket, Youth Director, Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists coordinated the Football Tournament.
