The 911 emergency communications is looking to persuade callers to the service from making non-emergency and hoax calls service.
911 Manager, Juliette Gooding, says the service takes its calls seriously, and anyone who calls for information or as a prank should stop.
She emphasises that calling 911 for non-emergency situations could take valuable, life-saving time away from someone who is experiencing a real emergency.
