‘Held in Toronto’s exclusive Bloor district, the event will offer affluent Canadian brides the tools to create the weddings of their dreams and a series of expert panels and seminars over three days,’ the release explains.

Mrs. Brown will be presenting Weddings Away – Cayman Islands, highlighting her company’s achievements with the Travel Channel’s series and showcasing the Cayman Islands as an attractive and desirable setting for destination weddings and honeymoons. Brides will learn the value of having a destination wedding and the unique benefits the Cayman Islands can offer. The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is a main sponsor of this event.

‘My presentation is yet another wonderful opportunity for the Cayman Islands to shine. We have so much to offer and the Canadian market is ready to embrace the trend of destination weddings,’ she said.

This is not Mrs. Brown’s first opportunity to wave the Cayman flag high. In 2006 the Travel Channel dedicated a six-episode series to Cayman Island weddings created by her company, Celebrations. Jo-Anne has contributed photos and editorial of her weddings to international bridal magazines like The Knot, In Style Weddings and Destination Weddings and Honeymoons.

She was just recently named ‘Fairy Godmother’ by The Knot’s Travel and Romance magazine along with six other renowned wedding planners.

‘I am honored to be recognized as an expert in this field and proud to establish Cayman as an ideal wedding destination. The support of the entire community, the Department of Tourism, my family and staff has been amazing. I feel ready for this challenge.’
