Grand Old House to broadcast worldwide

Grand Old House is offering a new service through, a local web cast company specialist on live streaming and broadcasting wedding ceremonies over the internet.

This Saturday at 4.45pm, the wedding ceremony of Christie Sappenfield and Scott Potchik, both from the US, will be broadcast live from the ocean side sundeck at Grand Old House. All of the couples’ friends and family will be able to share the excitement of the occasion and the beauty of a traditional Cayman sunset wedding, said a press release.

Flowers for the event will be provided by Trishas Roses.

The couple will have an intimate wedding with 35 guests joining them in person whilst their extended audience of ‘at home guests’ will watch the ceremony in real time and then be able to revisit it again with video on demand replays.

The ceremony will be held by Rev. Crawford.

According to the New York Times: ‘Destination Weddings are the fastest growing segment of the bridal industry’ with current revenues of $8.6 billion. Brand Week magazine reports that 16 per cent of all brides now opt for a destination wedding – a 400 per cent increase over the last 10 years.
