Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Department made several arrests for drug related offences on Tuesday.
Three males, ages 24, 21 and 18, were arrested for suspicion of consuming a controlled drug.
A 19-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled drug and suspicion of consuming.
A stolen vehicle was also recovered in relation to these arrests, said a police press release.
‘Neighbourhood Policing has a crucial role to play within neighbourhoods and communities,’ said Inspector Tricia Bodden of the Neighbourhood Policing Department.
‘It is a fantastic way of sharing information about any crime that has occurred as well as providing reassurance to residents.’
The RCIPS asks that any resident with information relating to criminal behaviour to contact their local police station or Crime Stoppers. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward should their information lead to an arrest.
