I just read that a Double Whopper with cheese contains 923 calories, which means you would need to walk nine miles in order to work it off.
So if you are trying to lose weight, which would you rather do? Eat the whopper and spend the next three hours walking in the hot sun, or have a healthy salad instead, and relax by the pool, which brings me to my suggestion.
Instead of quoting calories and other scientific jargon on food labels why not for the calorie section at least, simply specify walking miles?
This would act as a much more powerful incentive to think before we buy, as can readily be seen from the example referred to above.
