EE Committee goes door-to-door

East End residents now have two opportunities to give their written feedback to government on future development in their district.

The East End District Committee of the Go East initiative will be going door-to-door in East End early this month with a survey of their own, in addition to the survey recently launched by the Cayman Islands Investment Bureau and Ministry of Tourism.

This additional survey will help the East End District Committee ensure that every resident has the chance to have their say on development in their community, said a press release from the CIIB.

East End District Committee Chairman Mervyn Conolly said, ‘The objective of the two-page survey is to obtain current information which will enable our Committee to better understand the preferences, wishes and/or concerns of the residents of our district and establish how the Committee will serve as an advocate to provide assistance, ensuring that East Enders gain value from the proposed development.’

East End residents and stakeholders are asked to contact the committee to give their feedback as soon as possible. Contact Mr. Conolly on 946-2084 or email [email protected].
