Morgan leads Sun Belt Conference in LJ

In NCAA Division I indoor track and field conference rankings, Carlos Morgan of Middle Tennessee State University heads the list in the Sun Belt Conference with a 25’5″ performance, which gives him a provisional qualifying mark for the national indoor championships.He also is credited with a seventh-place

7.45 for the 55 meter dash, converted from his 60 meter best.Additionally, he is ranked fourth in the triple jump with a 48’5 1/4″ effort, just ahead of brother Carl’s 48’4 1/2″ effort.

Also in the Sun Belt Conference, Ronald Forbes of Florida International University holds down third place in the 55 meter hurdles event with a 7.50 clocking.

Omar Wright of Rice University has the fifth-best clearance in the high jump in Conference USA–

6’8″/2.03 meters.
