X107.1 Teacher of the Week

X107.1 honoured Eziethamae Bodden this week as part of its new community segment, ‘Kruz and Jenn’s Teacher of the Week.’

While not holding an ‘official’ teacher title, Eziethamae has helped students for many years on the Islands, including working with children at the Lighthouse School in its early days.

She is the proud parent of two grown daughters and, although both are now attending college, she continues to volunteer her time whenever she can to enrich the lives of young Caymanian students, including her work with the John Gray High School Steel Band.

J-Kruz commented: ‘She’s a warm, caring individual who has given much of her life to helping others. She was our first choice this week because of her commitment to the Steel Band, work with the Lighthouse school, and commitment to the community.’

The new weekly segment airs every Wednesday at 7.30am on X107.1 and honours a teacher making a difference in Cayman.

Anyone can nominate a potential candidate by dropping off a letter at the X107.1 studios in the Mirco Center, or by visiting www.x1071.ky, and telling X107.1 why their favourite teacher should be named ‘Kruz and Jenn’s Teacher of the Week.’

If your business would like to take part in ‘Kruz and Jenn’s Teacher of the Week’ program, please contact J-Kruz, Programme Director, at [email protected] or 943-1367. The station is looking for gifts to present to the teacher honoured each week.
