Young people aged 13 to 18 years are being invited to a frank, straight-talking, seminar on love, sex, dating and relationships.
The seminar, organised by George Town Seventh-Day Adventist Church and hosted by international author and speaker Nancy Van Pelt, starts tonight at 7pm and continues Saturday, 3pm to 7.30pm, and Sunday, 3pm to 6.45pm, at the ballroom, Marriott Beach resort.
Areas covered will be to kiss, or not to kiss, can I survive a breakup and how do I know it’s true love? All attendees are asked to bring $3 for a seminar work book. There will be a free pizza party on Saturday after the seminar.
‘Anyone can date, but few are really good at it,’ Mrs Van Pelt says. ‘Smart dating requires more than cash, cars and a condom. Make sure you know the secrets to smart dating.’
Nancy Van Pelt is a certified family life educator who has written more than 20 books on family relationships and dating. She has appeared internationally on radio, TV and in more than 1,000 seminars.
