Too expensive to fly to Cayman

Could the reason for air arrivals being down be that it’s just too expensive to fly to the Cayman Islands?

Once you’re there, the cost of everything is high as well, making it a destination out of reach for most families and the middle class.

A family of four to fly to Grand Cayman would need $1,550 just for flight from Tampa alone and $1,900 to Cayman Brac. This is outragous!

After booking a room and minimal food expenditures there would be no money left for spending at the shops and businesses on the island even if you could afford the trip down.

If flight prices were more manageable there would be a greater chance for long weekenders to visit from the States as well.
