Carlos Morgan in NCAA Championships

Carlos Morgan of Middle Tennessee State University has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division I National Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the University of Arkansas Tyson Center.

Carlos is currently listed ninth on the Division I long jump rankings at 7.74 meters(25’5 1/2′, a mark which ties him with Dashalle Andrews of Northridge University.A single centimeter ahead are Frankie Wright of Oklahoma and Kiwann Lawson of Indiana.Leading competitors are Nathan Mayle of Ohio University and Tone Belt of Louisville, both of whom are credited with 7.95 meter leaps, or 26’1′.

Seventeen starters have been named for the event, for which the preliminary round and final will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 9 March.

Tyrell Cuffy is expected to be one of the members of the King College 4 x400 meter relay squad at the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Johnson City, Tennessee.

King College has the fifth best time recorded this season for the event among NAIA colleges,3:17.14.

Preliminaries for the 4 x 400 will be conducted at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, with the final on Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
