Cayman Prep & High School holds its Easter Eggstravaganza Fair at Dart Family Park on South Sound this Saturday.
The fundraiser, from 10am to 2pm, will include a bungy pull, refreshment/food stalls, arts and crafts kiosks and sporting events such as obstacle races, basketball shooting and football goal scoring competitions.
As well as fun day staples like the bouncy castle and face painting; visitors can try soaking staff in the school’s very own dunk machine, painting pots and checking out the many side shows.
A performance by the Prep’s steel band and a karate demonstration by Purple Dragon are also included in the day’s events.
Articles for sale at the Eggstravaganza Fair include ‘Made with Love’ items made by students and the School’s ‘Prep for Success’ cook book.
There will also be guest appearances by the Easter Bunny.
PTA Secretary Alan Tooker said: ‘Last year, the inaugural Eggstravaganza raised well over $8,000, which went toward the purchase of playground equipment for the younger children.
‘The event was packed, and we received many compliments from those who attended, saying what a great day it was. This year we are planning an even bigger event, and are eagerly looking forward to the big day. We anticipate it will be another big success.’
Admission is free. Tickets for the various activities and stalls cost $1. Prices for rides, stalls and activities varying in price between one and six tickets.
