Get involved in youth leadership programme

Young adults, aged 18 to 30-years-old, interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to apply for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards programme.

A statement from Rotary said that RYLA is a leadership training and education programme for college students and young professionals.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise, and held for the first time in the Cayman Islands, those chosen to participate in RYLA will spend two days and three nights at the Marriott Courtyard Beach Resort. Participants will attend presentations and take part in fun and challenging group activities sponsored by other Caribbean Rotary clubs.

The advisory mentioned that RYLA participants will receive training from professionals, with special emphasis on the importance of ethics, community service and positive social change.

Successful participants will qualify participants to attend the International RYLA held annually.
