BrightStaff hires specialist

BrightStaff has expanded its team with the addition of Gerd Fiebig, a renowned expert in the recruitment industry.

His role as a repatriation specialist will be to assist professionals who have gained a wealth of knowledge in the fund industry and want to seek a position outside Cayman.

He will leverage BrightStaff’s global network of industry relationships and in-depth market research to identify a range of international and long-term career opportunities for these jobseekers.

Lisa George commented: ‘A number of factors are leading professionals to investigate potential opportunities abroad, including concerns about the ‘roll over’ policy in Cayman and an increasing number of attractive employment prospects in other financial jurisdictions.’

As part of its repatriation services, BrightStaff acts as a resource to investigate potential opportunities abroad and guides candidates through the recruitment process, providing information on potential employers, compensation packages, growth prospects and also market trends, states a press release.

Mr. Fiebig will assist in the expansion of BrightStaff’s repatriation services with his vast industry knowledge: He has over 6 years of experience handling executive search and staffing needs for corporate environments. Most recently, he worked at CIBC Mellon Trust and CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company where he worked with the Capital Markets, Fund Services, Legal and Compliance and Information Services client groups. Along with his B.A., Mr. Fiebig is a Certified HR Manager and has previous HR consulting experience with a variety of clients.
