Montessori by the Sea invites Cayman’s children to escape the ordinary this summer with six fun filled weeks of summer camp.
SummerScape weekly sessions begin on 3 July and run through 10 August.
Following the fun and success of last summer’s programme, SummerScape will again offer flexible programming with separate camps for children from three to six years old (must be fully toilet-trained) and elementary aged students (ages six to 12).
Camp hours are 9am to 4pm and there is the option of Early Bird (from 8am-9am) and After Camp Cool Down (from 4pm-5pm) care for campers whose parents are busy at work.
Each camp is led by experienced, enthusiastic staff.
For three- to six-year-olds each week there is the option of morning only, afternoon only or full day sessions. Children will have fun exploring, discovering and learning with themes like ‘Allons-y’ (an imaginary journey to France) and ‘3…2…1 blast off! (a journey into space).
For the older campers some weeks are ‘All Day Adventures’ and the others also have the morning only or afternoon only options. Themes include ‘Creating with the Masters’ (an art extravaganza exploring the works of Picasso, Van Gogh and Monet) and Ocean Exploration (where students will enjoy activities like snorkeling, fishing and swimming with the stingrays.)
