Ignition Business Recovery Office Suites are fully functional office spaces in Halifax, Nova Scotia that can be used by Cayman or Bermuda companies in the event of a hurricane or other disaster.
The suites enable Cayman- or Bermuda-based companies to continue with their critical operations at Ignition’s 7,000-square-foot Enterprise Business Recovery Facility.
The facility provides access to the Ignition Enterprise Data Centre, as well as office space that include desks, chairs, computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines and conference rooms, states a press release.
Ignition’s site is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week and allows clients to quickly fail-over their voice and data traffic to Halifax so employees can quickly resume operations in the event of a disaster. Each IBROS can be configured to a client’s specific needs and can accommodate from four to 24 staff from a single company. The entire facility can support more 100 users at one time.
The Ignition Enterprise Data Centre can continually replicate client data for all their applications, fully encrypted and secure. The Ignition facility is located in a 16-floor state-of-the-art building in the centre of the Halifax business district. The facility offers redundant power, high-speed OC3 data connections, 24 hour security and a complete HVAC system with humidification. With the facility connected by interior pedways to three major hotels, shopping malls and the waterfront, Ignition has preferred rates with priority bookings for rooms and suites at the Marriott and Delta Hotels for IBROS clients.
Ignition can coordinate priority chartering of a Falcon 900B private jet to fly employees and executives directly to Halifax in under 3.5 hours from Cayman or under two hours from Bermuda.
