The Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association and Foster’s Food Fair are inviting all swim enthusiasts to celebrate the beginning of the summer holiday season this Saturday, by participating in the 23rd Annual Foster’s Food Fair 800m Sea Swim on June 30th. The race will start at 4:00pm at Governor’s Beach, and finishes at Public Beach on West Bay Road.
The Foster’s Food Fair 800m Sea Swim represents the longest continual sponsorship and one of the most popular sea swims in the Swim Association’s Open Water Sea Swim Calendar. Distinctive ‘sun-catcher’ medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in all age group categories. Regardless of finishing position, every swimmer will receive a T-shirt, refreshments donated by Gatorade and Le Bleu, and pizza. Participants in the Foster’s Food Fair 800m Sea Swim will be required to wear swim-caps for safety reasons. The swim caps will be provided free upon registration.
Registration for the 23rd Annual Foster’s Food Fair 800m Sea Swim will be held in the Governor’s Beach parking area prior to the race, from 3:00-3:45pm. Entry fees for CIASA Members are CI$5 for children and CI$10 for adults, while non-members will pay CI$10 for children and CI$15 for adults.
