Cayman Airways reminds the public that photo identification is required at the time of check-in and at the departure gate for all passengers, including those travelling on its domestic flights (within the Cayman Islands).
However, passengers up to 17 who do not have an ID, will be allowed to board Cayman Airways, a press release notes. The requirement to have an ID begins at age 18, which is consistent internationally with regard to domestic travel.
Photo identification includes, but is not limited to: drivers’ licence; passport; voters’ registration card.
Passengers will not be allowed to travel if the identification information does not correspond with the reservation/ticket information.
‘Cayman Airways thanks the travelling public in advance for their cooperation in this matter,’ the release ends.
