The Cayman Islands Olympic Committee (CIOC) has selected Cartan Tours as the official, local travel agency for the 2008, 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games.
‘We’re excited to be partnering with the CIOC and with the residents of the Cayman Islands,’ said David G. Elmore, Cartan Tours president. ‘We know that residents of the Cayman Islands are passionate about sports, particularly as it relates to the Olympic movement.’
In its capacity as the official travel and ticket agent for the CIOC, Canada-based Cartan will offer packages to the Olympic Games in Beijing, China (2008), Vancouver, Canada (2010) and London, England (2012).
Partnering with Cartan will be Cayman Travel, as the official sub-agent in the Cayman Islands; and Global Sports Partners, which will coordinate organising committee and international relations for both companies.
”We are extremely pleased to be associated with Cartan Tours, Global Sports Partners and Cayman Travel,’ commented CIOC President Donald McLean. ‘These three organisations have more than 40 years of experience in working Olympic Games, including managing travel and tickets for American delegations and public since 1988.’
Cartan Tours is also serving as the official travel and ticket agent for 26 other National Olympic Committees (NOCs), including several in the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
