Students of Miss Nadine’s Preschool will start off the new school year with a fresh supply of art and teacher tools, as well as educational equipment and toys, thanks to the helping hand of FirstCaribbean International Bank.
In continuing its charitable initiatives, the National Council of Voluntary Organisations has embarked on a project that includes expanding Miss Nadine’s Preschool to house two more classrooms and four additional teachers. The school is open to children two-five years of age, from 7am – 5.30pm and plays a pivotal role in early childhood education.
CEO of the NCVO, Janice Wilson expressed thanks to FirstCaribbean, noting ‘donations such as this enable us to provide a comprehensive curriculum with supporting materials for the children’s lessons.’
The extended support from FirstCaribbean enables the NCVO to build the additional classrooms, as well as provide the educational tools needed to facilitate the growth.
