Chamber back to Panama

Make reservations by Friday

The Chamber of Commerce is arranging a trade mission to Panama from 25 -29 September to attend the 20th Annual Panamanian Chamber of Construction Trade Show, which will feature more than 250 exhibitors in the construction, development and real estate sectors in Central and Latin America.

CAPAC Expo Habitat 2007 will take place at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City, Panama from Wednesday 26 September and runs through Sunday 30 September. This is one of the larger expositions of construction projects, real estate promoters, developers, and industry related material and service providers in Panama.

Participants will fly on American Airlines from Grand Cayman to Panama City on 25 September returning on the 29th. The cost is US$1,595 per person with airfare and hotel at the Intercontinental Miramar with breakfast and a single room. For double occupancy, the total cost will be US$978 for the second person.

‘This is a great opportunity for us to go back to Panama and see what our neighbours have to offer the construction, real estate and development industries. The Chamber has organised two successful missions to Panama and many local businesses and entrepreneurs have benefited by establishing new contacts and sources for products and services. This trade mission focuses on the construction and development sector and will provide new opportunities for local businesses to investigate non-traditional sources for materials and supplies,’ said Chamber CEO Wil Pineau.

The deadline for registering for the trade mission is Friday.
