This Sunday’s Talent XPosition of the Arts show is going ahead at the Harquail Theatre.
Gates for the popular annual event showcasing the best and brightest of local visual and performing arts open at 5pm. The show starts at 6pm.
Among the show stopping line up are The Latin Dancers, HypeSquad Dancers, Wayneroy, J C Connor, Hi-Tide and Impulz, Devon Edie, Roy Bodden, Divine Bush, Jason Dacosta, Evana Martinez and Michelle T.
Some of the rising stars include: Jessica Hurlstone, Ann-Marie, Seantel Jackson, Daisy and Lloyd Barker.
An art exhibition presented by Trina and Chris Christian of Cayman Traditional Arts is also part of the show. The artwork will feature pieces by up and coming young artists and fine art by noted Caymanian artist Al Ebanks.
The show is a fundraiser by the New Self-Help Community Foundation. All proceeds will benefit the Pines Retirement Home and the foundation’s Youth Empowerment Programme.
Light refreshments will be available.
‘We’ve a really exciting programme this year,’ said the show’s producer J C Connor.
‘Our line up is diverse and draws from all parts of the local arts scene. What we try and provide is a national platform for talent to shine ands a great evening’s entertainment for the community.’
The show will be emceed by Comedian Quincy Brown.
