We at PricewaterhouseCoopers are proud to congratulate the National Trust on this milestone event as it celebrates 20 years of achievements in the Cayman Islands.
We appreciate the chance to comment briefly on our partnership with the National Trust.
Over the years the Trust has done so much to protect our environment and sustain our heritage.
With environmental projects such as the Blue Iguana Recovery Programme, creating safe habitats for Cayman Parrots, and protecting historical sites, the Trust has also helped to strengthen aspects of our islands’ history and culture that we otherwise might have lost. Furthermore, with their focus on educational programmes, the Trust does its part to continue the preservation of such island heritage by teaching the public and our younger generations about its importance to our country and its people.
PricewaterhouseCoopers understands this need for education, awareness and conservation and continues to support the National Trust on an annual basis in order to assist in the important work which the Trust undertakes.
By annually sponsoring, and participating in, the National Trust’s 5k Fun Run for Earth Day, we hope to do our part in increasing awareness surrounding environmental impacts our islands face, as well as raising the much needed financing the Trust requires in order to be effective in everything they do for our community.
