CIIB business advisor advances in training

In the past year alone, Investment Bureau Business Development Advisor Dwene Ebanks has guided more than 50 residents on their path to achieving their entrepreneurial ambitions.

In addition to his work with the Bureau, Mr. Ebanks also finds time to study toward the advancement of his career in business advising. This year he completed a Diploma in Management Practices at the University College of the Cayman Islands, and has just begun studies to become a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council in Washington DC.

‘Both of these qualifications have been made possible through the support of the Investment Bureau,’ Mr. Ebanks, who graduated with Merit from UCCI this year and was elected the Student Council Representative for the university’s Professional Studies programme.

CIIB Executive Director Dax Basdeo said the training will assist with the Bureau’s strategic planning and development.

‘We are very proud of his accomplishments and look forward to further assisting Cayman’s entrepreneurs with Dwene’s passion as a professional business advisor.’

Mr. Ebanks can be contacted at the Bureau by calling 945-0943 or email [email protected]
