Cayman National sponsors young leader

Cordell Gutierrez, a junior at Cayman Brac High School, was selected to attend the 2007 LeadAmerica Conference, a leadership conference for the world’s most promising and outstanding middle and high school students.

‘Throughout the 10 days I was there I learned what it takes to be successful in life and what you need to know when entering the business market,’ said Cordell, who attended the Global Business Entrepreneurship Conference.

‘I am grateful to Cayman National for making this happen. This was an experience that broadened my horizons and I only wish many other students could have shared this experience with me,’ he said in a press release.

Through LeadAmerica, students return to their schools and communities better prepared to lead, face challenges nd to achieve their goals. ‘It is therefore essential that Cayman’s youth are afforded the opportunity to develop into strong leaders, and Cayman National is extremely pleased to contribute to their development in this manner,’ said Claudia Welds, Cayman National’s Senior Executive.
