A new initiative offered by The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has introduced ‘Meaningful Meetings’, an opportunity for clients to get into the spirit of giving this holiday season.
Anyone booking a new catering event or group at the resort will prompt the resort to donate ten percent of the total event banquet food and beverage or guest room revenue donated equally to a charity of their choice, and to causes supported by Community Footprints, the social responsibility programme sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton. Applicable to new bookings for events or meetings booked and held between October 15, 2007 and December 31, 2007 – this offer is based upon space availability, said a press release.
Donations will be made directly by The Ritz-Carlton to the client’s charity of choice and to the Community Footprints Fund which supports the Crisis Centre and the Humane Society in the Cayman Islands.

A marketing campaign will begin immediately to inform clients of the Meaningful Meetings initiative.
