Media Works International is launching a brand new business publication for construction industry professionals in the Cayman Islands and the broader Caribbean region.
Caribbean Construction Magazine (Cayman Islands edition) is launching January 2008 to provide global, regional and local news relating to the Caribbean Construction Industry, with in-depth interviews with the experts, and articles contributed by the industry’s leading authorities.
This includes financial matters, innovative products, new developments, planning updates, on-site safety, and environmental issues.
The magazine will be distributed directly to investors, financiers, product suppliers and building industry professionals in the Cayman Islands and to key players in the Caribbean region.
In addition to the latest construction news, the magazine also has an industry recruitment section available in print and online to reach both local and international readers.
Claire McQuillan, managing director of Media Works International explained the need for a building industry publication.
‘Having worked closely with construction industry professionals throughout the Caribbean, the Media Works team established a need for a forum where Caribbean-based companies could access the latest industry news relevant to the region and where both local and international investors could source reputable contractors. The magazine will be an extremely useful source, not only for development news but for the latest planning regulations and building laws.’
The first phase of the Caribbean Construction website is now online at www.caribbeanconstruction.com and the full website including Caribbean-wide tenders and recruitment section will be available when the magazine launches early 2008.
