dms honours seven staff members

Cayman Islands-based business conglomerate dms Organization Ltd. has rewarded seven of its staff for their outstanding contribution to the company in 2007.

dms Organization is a conglomerate of businesses engaged in the financial services, real estate, media, and entertainment industries. Employees were awarded at dms’ annual holiday party held in December in the award categories of leadership, dedication, spirit, rising star, rookie, and company service.

The Leadership Award was presented to Phil Vinciullo, dms Broadcasting Ltd.’s network promotions and marketing manager. In 2007, Phil developed and grew the the radio conglomerate’s street team, recruited new talent, motivated existing staff and streamlined promotions plans. He created successful profitable promotions for 96.5 CAYROCK, HOT 104.1, 106.1 KISS FM, and X107.1 and displayed an ability to adapt to the rapidly-changing broadcast industry, states a press release.

The Dedication Award had two winners: Sacha Didier, IT manager for dms Organization and Georgina Buicke, senior corporate administrator for dms Management Ltd., the largest management firm in the Cayman Islands focused on serving the hedge fund industry. The two employees were recognized for their endless hours and commitment to internal and external customers’ satisfaction.

The Spirit Award was given to dms Management’s Anne Storie. She was recognized for her natural ability to positively engage and energize the team of corporate administrators.

Latoya Francis won the Rising Star Award. Hired by dms two years ago, she initially was employed as a part-time receptionist. She was later promoted to a role within the dms Management finance team. Latoya demonstrated in 2007 an ability to continually rise to challenges and demonstrate self improvement.

Rosalind Robinson won the Rookie of the Year Award. Hired in April 2007, she quickly advanced to a top sales performer at dms Broadcasting and developed a reputation for providing superior customer service to the radio stations’ clientele.

Rosalind commented, ‘The staff at dms Broadcasting have been very supportive. It has been a great opportunity to build on my career and continue to develop new skills. I’m looking forward to new challenges in 2008.’

Angela Nightingale was recognized with the Company Service Award. Since joining dms in January 2000, Angela has held a number of finance-related roles in different dms companies. Currently, Angela works for Offshore Business Solutions, an experienced team of professional managers, qualified accountants and administrators who provide a complete range of outsourced solutions for the offshore industry. Her long-time commitment to dms was noted with the award.
