Chamber members and guests are invited to attend an extraordinary Business After Hours hosted at the Stacy Watler Agricultural Pavilion in Lower Valley beginning at 5.30pm Tuesday.
This one-of-a-kind event, hosted by the Cayman Islands Ministry for Agriculture and show sponsor Cable & Wireless, is a preview of the Annual Agriculture Show which takes place the next day.
The Minister for Agriculture Kurt Tibbetts will introduce the plans for The Grounds to the business community.
The Grounds is an exciting new multi-use complex dedicated to the talented farmers and artisans of the Cayman Islands by providing an outlet for everything grown and produced in these islands. Architect Mr. John Doak will present the plans for the 30 acre project.
‘We are delighted to show our support for the Agriculture Show with this Business After Hours in Lower Valley. Agriculture is one of the seven areas the Chamber of Commerce is sworn to preserve and protect. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing the plans for The Grounds, a development under the Agri-Tourism project,’ said Chamber President Mr. James Tibbetts
Attendees will receive a sneak peek of the planned entertainment, food and events, with special performances from the Jesse White Tumbling Team and the equestrian display. The first timely members to arrive will receive an exclusive gift bag and several lucky people will win prize bags from the artisans, farmers and vendors from the Market on the Grounds.
